Elf is cheap and their mineral makeup line works great. Bare Minerals is also good but more pricey than elf. Maybelline is also affordable and decent. Mineral makeup has better staying power than our traditional makeup and a little goes a long way. It will last you a very long time so it's not really expensive. You can purchase mineral online or you can find them in drug stores. You may also try out their samples if you want to see if it works out for you. Samples are mostly 5g and is good for about 10 applications. All you need to do is pay for the shipping and you'll receive free samples :)-:.

The best mineral makeup brands also had a few complaints. Although mineral makeup is generally well received, it is not a perfect product for everyone. The learning curve on application is tough for some and many will give up trying.
I have been using mineral make-up since Nov. I agree it can be very messy if you do not apply it the right way. You should dress after you put it on. Living in FL it is much better than liquid foundation.

Maybelline lose foundation powder is the best suited for me. It has no side effects and appears normal.

For those of us with sensitive skin, it can be quite a challenge to find healthier and safer alternatives to traditional makeup, so we can look and feel beautiful without harmful chemicals.

I myself have dark skin. I use Arbonne natural radiance mineral powder and absolutely love it! I am a big make up fanatic. Prior to using this product people would always say "your make up is so pretty". Now people say " your face is so pretty". The powder goes on flawlessly and looks natural. It also give you a natural glow. Someone said to me today " your glowing honey. Are you pregnant." But it was my powder giving me this awsome glow. This product is great for all different skintones and awsome for sensitive skin. Here is what sets it apart. This powder..... 1. SPF 15 2. Vitamin A, C, E 3. Zinc oxide 4. No animal products or animal by producs 5. provides soft focus effect for glowing flawless appreance.

Looking for a makeup that will suite you especially if you have sensitive skin is not easy. What works for others may not work for you so the only way to know is to try it. You can buy samples and do a patch test to see if your skin will react negatively to the product. I'm just lucky that I don't have negative reactions on makeup. Only on skin care products such as moisturizers, cleansers, and toners.

Try out the CalistaCosmetics webstore

They have information on their website of the benefits of mineral make-up and I think their make-up is all natural, non-clogging, etc.

Hope this helps !

Bare Escentuals Mineral Makeup are good and they have been in the business for quite awhile now. But there's a new mineral makeup brand making their name on the cosmetic business and that's Elite Mineral. They don't test on animals which is really good if you don't like companies testing their products on animals. Their products are also reasonably priced.
