How should I take care of my body bag rose bush?

I planted my rosebush in MiracleGro soil, and I used the water soluble MiracleGro plant food on it (a lot actually) with warm water it's is cool/warm and wet outside.

Now how do I take care of it in a Texas climate to make sure it will grow?

(Please do not answer if you are against cheap body bag plants)
