Think twice before you get your hair colored. Ask yourself if the color would suit you, how harmful will the coloring be and many more vital questions. Once you get your hair colored, either you would need to color it back to get the original color or wait for months or may be a year for the color to fade away.

Points to be kept in mind:

* Do not shampoo your hair frequently. Pick on color-safe shampoo.
* Use a hair conditioner developed especially for colored hair.
* Pick products that read antioxidant or sunscreen as ingredients to protect your hair from UVA - UVB rays.
* Wet your hair before swimming. This would avoid absorption of chlorine or salt water.

Thanks for the tips. I don't actually color my hair. I have naturally brown hair so I wanted to color it black but the people from salon always told me that it's too strong for me :(

They say that it will make me look more mature and striking! It will not look good on me. I have baby thin brown hair and black will not look good on it, and my face.

I also have the natural brown hair so whenever I go to the salon, the stylist will always recommend to color my hair with a different shade so it will balance the uneven color. I think if your hair strands in thin, hair coloring is not advisable as putting on hair color when only damage your hair making it brittle because of the harsh chemical ingredients.

Yeah I also think so. I don't want my hair to be damaged because of styling and using chemicals that is too strong for it to be brittle. I don't know why I love black hair, but I do. Anyway brown is good and my friends are dying their hair brown and it looks great too :)
