This article reviews Lubriderm Daily UV Lotion with Sunscreen SPF 15. Here's what the manufacturers have to say about the product: According to dermatologists, skin damage caused by sun exposure is cumulative. Over time, repeated exposure to ordinary sunlight can be just as damaging as a day at the beach.

Lubriderm Daily UV Lotion's unique formula combines light daily moisturization with dermatologist-recommended SPF 15 sun protection. This non-greasy feeling lotion moisturizes and protects against the damaging rays of the sun - so your skin can feel clean, smooth and protected every day. - SPF 15 sunscreen helps provide daily protection against damaging UVA and UVB rays.

The Real Deal:

I've tried this product in the past. I purchased the Lubriderm Daily UV Lotion with Sunscreen SPF 15 just before embarking on a short vacation during the summer. Those who are searching for a sunscreen with strong sun protection would do well searching for another product. On the positive side this product is light. Has a pleasant smell. And is absorbed into the skin quickly. Lubriderm Daily UV Lotion is good choice for mild sun exposure but not for a long day at the beach or outdoor activity in hot climates.

And for those planning on relaxing on the beach all day long make sure to use a product with a high SPF factor. The higher the SPF the more protection the sun screen gives against UV-B. The Ultra Violet radiation which causes the skin to burn. The SPF estimates the amount of time the person who applies the sun screen can be exposed to the sun before burning. Most should remember to reapply the lotion every 2 or 3 hours to maintain sun protection.

I havent tried the Ombrelle yet but so far weve been using the Baby Aveno sunscreen on our exzema baby. The recommendations for the Ombrelle make sense to me too. DH has exzema and he very much prefers the Ombrelle lotions.
