I've been searching suitable brands for my skin since i was 18.
At 24, i found my suitable brand, MAXIPEEL, i love all their products. no more pimples and no more scars.
However, this products are banned in my country coz the overdose of hidroquonin... so I've to say goodbye to this products.
and now i'm going for natural homemade-products.

Yes, pond's skincare products are also good, i've tried it,
but it makes some parts of my face oily, esp. on my forehead so i stop using it.

I have combination skin type, that is, oily on my T-zone and nose,
dry on cheek and my chin and mouth area..
and whenever i feel tired, even my chin will look oily..
so i'm looking for water-based skincare products. Any suggestions?

I think we must keep changing the brands if you always use high-grade cosmetics, suddenly to change with another which are cheaper, did your skin feel unwell? I change my cosmetics style in these days. The first day I felt my skin was not nourish enough. Fortunately, the skin does not play allergic reaction. Perhaps it is needed a rate to change with another products.Hope my skin will become more good than before.

Changing cosmetics brands might be a bit tricky. I think the most important think in skin care is to stik to what is workig for you and change if it stops.

Also, to know if something work or not you need to give it some time, nit just a day or two.

I do not like changing brands to be honest.

Where would I find these products other than online? Maybe Walgreens or CVS? I like to see an touch. Especially when it comes to beauty products.

I used ponds products when i was in a high school but i change
it to another afordable products, since as a student, the price for
the ponds skincare are more than i can afford. But i suggest ponds for
more clear and white skin, the result can be significantly seen in 3 weeks.
Well, result may vary though..

another brand I would suggest here is Nivea. Really good in my opinion and not really costly.

Worth having a look if you are looking for something affordable, yet of good quality.

What about Shu Uemera? Its kind of popular but I haven't tried it. Are they worth trying? I found out their products are a little expensive but I have been reading a lot of positive feedbacks about it. :P
