Sharon Kinnier, the woman behind the scene: ‘My interest in natural skin care grew out of personal use and experience. I felt there must be a better way to healthy, vibrant skin than through the chemically preserved and enhanced products so readily available. I started handcrafting soaps and a few other items as a hobby. To my surprise, friends with whom I shared those items came back for more! Their honest appreciation and enthusiasm provided the spark needed to turn a labor of love into a successful venture.’

Sharon Kinnier comes from a more technical background ~ having owned a small computer networking company, she understood that we live through ‘tremendous stress’. She began studying aromatherapy as a means of de-stressing her life. The study became an obsession and she found herself immersed in books and classes and practicing her craft at home as often as she was able.

Then the time came for her to make a decision ~ stay where she was or take a leap of faith into the business of skin care ~ and she did so with no regrets.

‘This time in my life is so satisfying. Going from left brain to right brain presents its own set of challenges that can be quite interesting. I have found a deep peace in creating soaps and lotions and it has changed my life for the better.’

Botanical Skin Works Skin Rejuvenating Complex

In a word ~ fantastic! Made with soothing and hydrating botanicals, this product is a clear winner in the wrinkle arena and is perfect for mature or damaged skin. I use it sparingly around my eyes and mouth and it leaves my skin soft and smooth. I don’t use a lot of make up, but when I do, I dab a bit of Skin Rejuvenating Complex around my eyes and I don’t get that pruney, wrinkled look when foundation is applied. I know a lot of women who refuse to wear foundation because of this eye wrinkle phenomenon. Skin Rejuvenating Complex is an extremely well formulated luxuriant cream that is a must-have product for any woman, or man, battling crows feet, mouth wrinkles or frown lines ~ it smooths fine lines and lessens the appearance of the deeper, more treacherous signs of aging and sun damage. Another aspect of this cream that I love is that it isn’t perfumey ~ it has a light, mild fragrance so it won’t clash with whatever scent you’re wearing.

Skin Rejuvenating Complex ingredients: rose bulgaria hydrosol, shea butter, jojoba oil, sesame oil, soybean oil, rose hip seed oil, vitamin E, borage seed oil, evening primrose oil, lecithin, beeswax, heliocarrot oil, wheat germ oil, calendula select, rosehip seed extract, sea buckthorn extract, borax, lavender, sweet orange, vetiver & geranium essential oils.

For the last few years, I always used all-natural botanical basied skin care thanks to the suggestion of an aesthetician during a facial -- i could only get the "true" botanical products at health food stores and they are expensive. Then I went to a business luncheon in which someone did a presentation for a $450 million skin care company who only uses high-grade premium botanicals from around the world. They are a swiss company who employes the best bio-engineers, biologists and herbalist from around the world. I was impressed with what I heard. But it wasn't until I tried the product, WITH NO OBLIGATION for 3 days. This was the best stuff I have ever put on my face! You see results in 24 hours! Their firming serum is to die for and everything is just so good.

This company is tapping into the anti-age market which is going to grow exponentially over the next 10 years. The only way to buy the product is online or through an independent consultant. There are thousands of consultants that make well over $10,000 a month -- and this is still a virtually untouched market.

So...I'm sold. I signed up as a distributor for almost nothing and all I do is let my friends try it for 3 days and they don't want to give it back. If you want more information, please go to www.buyarbonne.com and learn more about it.

You'll be glad you did!!!

dark undereye circles need more than a skin lightener or brightener.. the eye area is very sensitive and any cream or treatment should be formulated for eye area usage only..

for dark undereye circles, choose a moisturizing eye cream with a safe skin lightening ingredient like kojic acid, licorice orpapain, and NOT hydroquinone, mercury or steroids.. i think arbonne eye cream is a good one.. but a little too pricey..

Several years ago I sold PTR products and the skin brightener, which is Kojic Acid (comes from a Japanese mushroom), is perfectly safe for black skin, but in order to get the WOW effect, you have to use the product every single day without miss.

Botanical Skin Works Summer Protection Lotion is absolutely the best sun block. The lotion doesn't make the skin oily, actually reduces the amount of oil skin produces, and yet moisturizes it enough that it never becomes dry or flaky.
